My granddaughter came home from school not feeling well on yesterday afternoon… fever, stomach cramping, vomiting. She was asleep when I got to the house (her dad brought her home while I was away from the house), so I didn’t wake her. When she awakened, she was still feeling bad. No matter how she sat, how she laid down, how she stood – the stomach pains were awful. I went into “Grandma The Teaologist” mode and made her some ginger tea, then I made a list of things for her grandfather to pick up from the store… Pedialyte, soda crackers, 7Up or ginger ale… and some bananas and potatoes for when she got better and was able to begin eating a little something. We were prepping for the 24 hr stomach bug, the stomach flu… we were going to be ready! In the back of my mind I was thinking about not wanting it to spread to her twin and the rest of us, was she going to be over this in time for the activities we had planned for the weekend, would I have to find someone to take the tickets… so much stuff! I had to cast it ALL down and keep on moving forward!

When he got back to the house, I mixed the 7Up and Pedialyte with some aloe vera juice for her to start sipping. Then we anointed her with oil and prayed for her, taking authority over the symptoms, declaring healing, health, wholeness, and wellness over her body, commanding every system in her body to function the way it was created to function and commanding those systems in her body to work in concert rather than against each other. Let me just say this… we probably could have saved that trip to the grocery store! 😊 When I tell you the The Lord My God is a HEALER, please believe me! Those symptoms began to subside within 20 minutes and within less than an hour she was fine! Fever – GONE! Stomach cramps – GONE! Vomiting – GONE! Yessss… He DID that! Just like that it was GONE! We did what we knew to do to treat the symptoms in the natural, but we didn’t forget what we know and believe to tackle the obstacle in the spirit realm. What an awesome God He is!

So now the twins have a little extra to snack on, (Grandpa bought a box of their favorite cheese crackers, too), some of that usually forbidden carbonated drink to sip on, and a long weekend (there’s no school for them today) to enjoy while reflecting on how God stepped in and showed Himself strong in our situation! To top it off, we are going to an awesome women’s conference – #SHINE2018 – this weekend and now it will be better than ever! They see us praying for people all the time at church and hear us talking about how those same people will seek us out later to share their victorious testimonies. Now they have one in the books that they know of personally!
